Located at Disney Springs, The Edison was a place I had heard several people talk about but was not fortunate enough to try. That changed recently, and I am so glad it did!

You enter into The Edison upstairs, but then are led downstairs into the basement. The entire restaurant has a speakeasy feel inside. There was music that began about halfway through our meal, but it was an enjoyable environment that still allowed us to talk and enjoy.

The menu has a lot of options, but not a lot of them are marked gluten-free. That isn’t always the final answer at Disney, however. They are able to customize some things to be gluten-free.

There are just a few gluten-free appetizers. We decided to try the Clothesline Candied Bacon. It had a great smoky flavor with some excellent sweet and spicy pickles. For my meal, I ordered The Edison with a gluten-free bun. This was an amazing burger and the fries that came with the burger were wonderful.

This was the Udi’s gluten-free bun and the burger was cooked perfectly. Overall, this was an excellent meal. I loved our time here and the atmosphere. Next time, I really want to try the short ribs. Another table nearby got them and they looked great. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to try the burger either. One of the best in all of Disney!
