I opted to get the bowl with sweet potato noodles and jasmine rice as the base. I added garlic pepper steak as the protein, with some banana peppers, Parmesan cheese, and got a serving of the smoky chipotle sauce on the side.
There was nothing special about the rice, it was typical white rice. Nothing wrong, but just plain rice. The noodles had a great flavor to them. They were not gummy tasting, they were cooked perfectly. The peppers had a great bite to them and the steak had great flavor. The garlic was not overwhelming and was extremely tender.
Others at the table got the chicken and some other sauces, and everyone loved their meals. It was a great experience and I cannot wait to go back to Bolay sometime again soon!
