Epcot

San Angel Inn

Among all the choices to eat at Epcot, one of my favorites is San Angel Inn. Located inside the pyramid in the Mexico pavilion, San Angel has one of the best settings for a meal in all of Disney. It’s dark, as if you are sitting underneath the night sky in Mexico.

The menu has a lot of gluten-free options. Everything is clearly marked as gluten-free on the menu.

After looking at the menu on this visit, the Carne Asada caught my attention. I love a great steak and this is perhaps one of the best in Disney. My backup choice was Pollo A Las Rajas, but my wife decided to order that. So there’s a picture below of both to see!

So while the rice and other sides were delicious with the steak, the steak is absolutely the star of this plate. It was cooked perfectly. But let me say, THE BUTTER! The chipotle butter that was melted over the steak made this amazing! It was a salty butter, which gave the steak plenty of flavor. It also provided a great flavor in the rice as it melted across the plate.

The chicken and potatoes is a great option as well. Plenty of flavor and cooked extremely well. But the steak is still my favorite, even though it is a little more expensive.

If you get the chance to visit, it’s worth it! Take the reservation and enjoy one of Epcot’s finest!
