Toledo is located at the top of the Coronado Springs Resort Gran Destino Tower. It was added as a Michelin Guide restaurant and the setting is absolutely amazing. When you walk off the elevator, you have a choice to enter into Toledo, or enter into the lounge area. The lounge has an amazing balcony that overlooks the parks below. You can see for quite a distance!

Inside, Toledo is one of the best settings around Disney for a meal. The restaurant is separated from the hustle and bustle of a park, and loses a lot of the noise from a resort since it’s so high up. The inside is absolutely beautiful.

There are quite a few gluten-free choices on the menu. I was concerned after sitting down as a table nearby ordered off the allergy menu and had all sorts of issues. The server wasn’t as interested in explaining anything off the menu. So I was left to make my best decision on my own.

I decided to order the Roja-braised Chorizo as an appetizer. It came in a stone dish and was served with gluten-free bread. I have to be honest, this was my favorite part of the entire meal. It was full of flavor and absolutely delicious.

For my meal, I ordered the Filet of Beef and the blistered shishito peppers as a side. The steak came with a small side of mashed potatoes. The potatoes were excellent and the steak was cooked perfectly. That said, the steak was a little disappointing as it didn’t have a lot of flavor. It was almost like it had no salt or seasoning.

The peppers were the most disappointing. They were blistered, but they had zero flavor. There was no spice, flavor, or anything. If I had it to do over again, I would probably opt for the Brussels sprouts as another table had those and they looked delicious.

Toledo is certainly worth visiting for the setting and experience. The appetizer I cannot recommend enough. That chorizo was great. The rest of the meal was good, but certainly not my favorite I have ever had. I will definitely go back, but I’m not rushing back.
