White Rabbit

Recently, I wanted to find some type of dessert to eat, but was tired of my usual places. After a little bit of research, White Rabbit popped up in my search. After seeing it was a “dessert experience,” I knew that I needed to visit!

The menu is quite extensive. The gluten-free options are a bit limited. Like most places that are not dedicated gluten-free, there is a risk of cross contamination. That said, the staff was quick to share that they take precautions to try and eliminate as much of that risk as possible.

In the gluten-free section, the thought of a waffle combine with one of my favorite things, Nutella, was speaking my language! The server shared that the Code Nutella was very popular, so that’s what I ordered.

The waffle was an excellent pairing with the ice cream. It was not a typical heavy waffle. It was light and fluffy, not sweet at all. The ice cream was not extremely sweet either. The banana was cold so it went well with the warm waffle.

If there was one thing to complain about, it was that the ice cream was a little solid. Basically, you needed a knife to cut through the ice cream, even though the waffle was warm. After a couple of minutes, the ice cream was not melting from the waffle and the knife was necessary.

I am certainly not saying that I would go to White Rabbit every day, but it is worth an occasional visit. There are cheaper dessert options out there, but splurging for an occasional special treat is nice!
