Diamond Horseshoe

At Magic Kingdom, there are many different dining options to choose from. Just across from the Hall of Presidents sits Liberty Tree Tavern and Diamond Horseshoe. Each has a unique perspective to them, but on a recent visit, we decided to eat at Diamond Horseshoe.

Inside the restaurant it has an old town saloon feel. There is a player piano on stage and for a Disney restaurant, it isn’t the largest dining area around.

The meal is an all you can eat experience. Diamond Horseshoe has a dedicated allergen menu, like most other Disney restaurants. You can see the menu below.

This is almost like a Thanksgiving feast! Turkey, pot roast, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy and more. The meal starts with a nice large salad that is gluten free, then they shared some gluten-free bread that is covered in a garlic butter.

The most important part is the main plate, however. It is completely separate from the rest of the table who may enjoy gluten items. In the photo below, you can see the gluten-free mac and cheese as well.

They offer a special apple cake desert that is gluten free, but they will offer you a couple of alternatives if you don’t want apple cake. Sorbet was offered, but they also offered the Home Free cookie packs.

A few warnings here. First, don’t go and expect to get out fast. Diamond Horseshoe almost always runs late on their reservations. This was one of the quickest times, and it was still 20 minutes past our reservation time when we were called.

The service here can also leave some to be desired. We have dined here and had amazing service, and other times it was absolutely terrible. There really is no consistency here with the service. But there is consistency with the food. It’s an excellent meal and certainly worth your time!
