There are times when I just want something quick and simple for a meal, which can be challenging when eating gluten-free. Not long ago, I heard about Teriyaki Madness being a fast casual Japanese-style restaurant. When I heard they had gluten-free options, I decided that I needed to check it out!
We were in the Oviedo area of Orlando and decided to stop at the Teriyaki Madness there. There are other locations in Tampa, Lakeland, and Melbourne. According to the website, essentially every location outside of Nevada has gluten-free offerings.

On the menu at the Oviedo location, there were several items marked as gluten-free. The website shares a great PDF of the allergens. I decided to order a custom bowl, with white rice as the base and teriyaki chicken as the protein.
The chicken was grilled well, with a drizzle of teriyaki sauce on top. There was not a lot of sauce, and it could have easily been put on the side, according to the staff. One of the great things was if you like teriyaki sauce and wanted more, they kept a bottle of gluten-free teriyaki sauce on the table! If you zoom in on the bottle, you can see the GF logo showing it’s gluten free on the bottom right.

The sauce had a great flavor and was tasty on the rice. I really enjoyed the teriyaki sauce. The vegetables were excellent, and the rice was cooked extremely well.
I cannot complain about the meal overall. It was far from 5-star dining, but it was tasty. I don’t have any hesitation in recommending Teriyaki Madness for a great quick meal!
