Rosa Mexicano is located at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. The Swan and Dolphin Resort has long been a favorite of ours, being our favorite resort on property prior to relocating to Central Florida. It has Disney theming, but wasn’t over the top and as a young adult, I appreciated that!

Rosa Mexicano is a chain, but their website will tell you that this location is different from their other locations. Obviously it’s because this one has been modified for Disney. As such, they do offer quite a selection for those of us who need allergen-free diets!

Most of the menu is available gluten free with some modifications. On this trip, we had the chips and salsa. I also ordered the Pork Carnitas de Cazuela, which is gluten-free without any modifications.

The chips and salsa were tasty, but very salty. It was not so salty that you could not eat them, but I noticed that I was drinking a lot more of my water as the meal continued.

The pork carnitas were cooked well, moist, and came with all the right sides. Not sure if it was the chips and salsa, or if the carnitas were that salty also. After eating a couple inside the corn tortillas, I noticed that I was extremely parched again and could just taste salt.

Others nearby were saying their food seemed a little more salty than it should be. Maybe it was just an off night, because otherwise everything was great. The service was excellent, atmosphere was great, and the price wasn’t the worst ever. Don’t forget to valet park as they will validate parking so it’s free!
