Beaches & Cream

Between Disney’s Beach Club and Yacht Club is Beaches & Cream. The restaurant is located on the pool side of the resort along the walkway between the resorts. It has a great view of the pool area.

Inside, the location is very loud. There are many times we struggled to hear our conversation amid the larger groups there. Aside from that, the location is a great throwback to a soda stand from many years ago.

The gluten-free menu isn’t as expansive as some Disney restaurants, but it does have some unique choices. I’ve had the gluten-free burger at a lot of Disney locations, so this time I decided to go with the French Dip Sandwich.

The sandwich wasn’t bad. The bread is pretty dense, similar to the other gluten-free bread that Disney has. It paired well with the dip for the sandwich as it soaked it up nicely. Again, nothing amazing but I’ve had much worse in many other places. The tater tots were just plain tater tots, but cooked separately and were tasty.

On this visit, my son and I also split the No Way Jose dessert. It has chocolate and vanilla ice cream mixed with peanut butter and chocolate morsels, hot fudge, peanut butter, and a lot of whipped cream. It was delicious and it was excellent knowing all the items were safe to eat.

The gluten-free brownie dessert is the prepackaged brownie with ice cream. I think it’s a great choice as well, since they warm the brownie with the ice cream on top.

Beaches & Cream is a great place to go at Disney for a meal that won’t break the bank but offers several options. Especially if you want a decent ice cream snack to go with it!
