Fogo de Chao

Fogo de Chao is a Brazilian steakhouse that specializes in all you can eat options. The chain has several locations across central Florida, with two specifically located in Orlando. Recently, I decided to take a trip over to the I-drive location to have lunch.

As we entered the restaurant, I advised them that I needed to understand how gluten-free options worked. They brought me a specific allergen menu and quickly shared that at lunch, only one item was not gluten free. You can see the allergen menu below.

The inside of the restaurant is very large with plenty of seating options. We were fortunate to be sat near the buffet line. It was kept very clean, with the staff constantly wiping down the area and offering fresh plates.

I wasn’t able to get a ton of pictures of the different meats, but they had all sorts of options. Multiple types of steak, chicken, lamb, sausage, and more. All of the meats were gluten-free. They offered to bring anything specific that we wanted multiple times to the table. On the buffet was some brunch items, with special bacon, omelets, and more.

You can see one of the plates that I had from the buffet line below. This had a chicken salad that was absolutely delicious.

I also tried a Brazilian soda. I prefer zero drinks and I try not to drink too much soda. This soda was one of my favorites. It was not sweet at all. Similar to a ginger ale and certainly worth trying if you want to get something unique.

This was such a great experience. My family and I loved every single bite and this is easily one of our favorites in the area. We never walk away hungry with so many gluten-free options for me to eat. It’s certainly worth your time!
