There are so many options at Disney Springs to enjoy a great meal and one of my favorites is The Polite Pig. This is a Michelin rated restaurant, meaning it is definitely worth checking out! Located just down the stairs from the Lime Garage entry, The Polite Pig offers a wide selection of smoked meats and various side dishes.
The inside is your typical sit down Disney restaurant. It has a rather large inside seating area and outside seating area. The bar is inside, but they will serve you outside on the patio as well. Here are some photos from around the restaurant.

You may have to wait in line for a few minutes when you enter, but that’s perfectly fine since you will need some time to study the detailed gluten-free menu.

In typical Disney fashion, the allergy menu contains a lot of detail. On one side, the gluten allergy is prevalent. So this is much easier to navigate if you are gluten-free. In the case of celiac, it clearly labels cross contamination risks as well. On the back of the menu, it shares details about what each item contains for any possible allergy as well.
On this visit, I had my favorite thing on the menu, the half chicken. Sure, the brisket and pulled pork are good. But the citrus marinade that is on the half chicken is simply amazing. In fact, after trying nearly every gluten-free item on the menu, it is my go to here. On this trip, I decided to try the sweet potato tots (cross contamination risk) and the grilled street corn without the breadcrumbs.

This might be my favorite corn at any Disney restaurant. The chipotle aioli is just amazing with the grilled taste of the corn. The sweet potato tots are delicious if you don’t have to worry about cross contamination. If you do get them, try dipping them in the bbq ranch!
I always love visiting The Polite Pig. It’s an excellent meal at Disney Springs and will certainly leave you knowing why they are Michelin rated!
